Dr Robin 'Sid’ O'Toole


Dr Sid O’Toole is a specialist Occupational & Environmental Physician who provides expert medical advice on risk associated with the interface of health, work and the environment.

Graduating from Monash University with a Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery, Dr O’Toole completed his internship and residency with Barwon Health in Geelong, before undertaking full time active service with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).

Following completion of his tenure, Dr O’Toole commenced civilian Occupational Medicine practice in Brisbane whilst completing his training with the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine within the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

Dr O’Toole provides expert advice in the area of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He has extensive experience in the resources, aviation, government, and small to medium business sectors, assisting employers and employees to mitigate their risks through control of exposures in work and the environment. This allows him to make informed, balanced, and evidence based decisions regarding fitness for duty. 

He is a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME), a certified Medical Review Officer with AMROA and MROCC, a Nominated Medical Advisor under the Qld Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme, and an Approved Health Provider for Queensland Rail.
